The family album; an amalgamation of family ideals and propaganda of a hyper reality that only consist of the happy times, excluding family bereavements, fights and separation.

The Smith Family Album draws inspiration from this, including my own experience of family life. My album portrays a fragmented family unit; an accumulation of four individuals.

The cast, like the typical family album, is a reference and documentation of a life, an imitation of a reality.
